JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Grade/Curb Line Setter/Labourer

Reports To: Crew Foreman

Division: Operations

Location: Head Office, Etobicoke

Job Summary

As a member of the concrete crew, responsibilities include setting up string line for curb machine and grading operations. Assist in concrete crew duties such as, curb, sidewalk, roadway and terrace installations.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all company safety guidelines and training requirements
Work well within a crew environment
Preventative maintenance of all tools and equipment
Assist in line installation

Education and Experience

Minimum 2 years road construction experience
Must be able to read grade stakes and/or grade sheets
Valid class G driver’s license
Ability to read contract drawings would be an asset
Local 183 membership required

Daily within the GTA and surrounding area

Outdoor work. Weather is a factor.
