Excavator Operators

Job Responsibilities:

• Operation of excavator
• Shovel material to clear debris from cat walks and equipment
• Use hand or power tools
• Prioritize safety for yourself and the team at all times
• Complete safety paperwork as required
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose and fix breakdowns to minimize downtime during production times
• Take initiative in identifying potential issues on equipment
• Support our culture and values
• Build strong team relationships

 Job Requirements, Education and Experience:

• Command of English language is required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Class G Driver’s License
• Experience operating heavy equipment specifically an excavator is required
• Crushing experience is preferred but not necessary

 Compensation:

• Competitive pay hourly with overtime potential
• Rate highly dependent on position and experience

 Working Conditions:

• 10-14 hours per day
• Days, some nights and weekends
• Physical Environment - High intensity. Exposure to disagreeable conditions (inclement weather, busy safety sensitive work sites, uneven terrain)
• Physical Demand – High intensity. Operating and repairing heave equipment. Heavy lifting.
• Mental Effort – High intensity. Operating and working around heavy equipment.  Consistent sustained high impact/risk, focus, critical thinking.
