Job Summary

Fermar Paving Limited is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Control Personnel to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and workers in and around construction sites, roadwork zones, and event areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians
  • Set up and take down traffic control signs, barricades, and cones
  • Communicate effectively with other flaggers, site supervisors, and construction teams
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures as per local and federal guidelines
  • Remain alert and attentive at all times to prevent accidents and delays
  • Report any incidents, hazards, or violations to the site supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification (Book 7)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions
  • Prior experience in traffic control or construction is an asset but not required
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and safety oriented
